Our Mission
The IWC provides English speaking women with the opportunity to meet socially in order to exchange ideas, talents and cultural knowledge; and to contribute those ideas and talents to benefit our community. We aspire to offer a relaxed, welcoming forum for women of all ages and backgrounds, especially newcomers to Cancun and we aspire to be of service to each other and the wider community.

Our History
The International Women’s Club of Cancun was formed in 1983. The original idea was to bring together English-speaking women to help each other adapt to Cancun, to make friends, and to make Cancun a better place through community service. We are truly an international club. Many of us are expatriates, and we come from all over the globe, with backgrounds as diverse as our interests. We range in age from our mid-20′s into our golden years. We are homemakers, business owners, professionals and retirees.

The first meetings were held in members homes. Today we’re much bigger, and our monthly meetings are held in a hotel meeting room. The club meets the first Saturday of every month and all guests are welcome. All members are invited to attend the regularly scheduled Board and Community Service Meetings.
